Or is it just us pasty white guys trying so hard to be diverse and cool?</p> <p><img height="194" width="284" alt="Son House" src="http://www.dradom.com/images/sonhouse.jpg"/></p> <p>I love listening to blues musicians like Son House, Robert Johnson, Junior Kimbrough, Howlin&#8217; Wolf, John Lee Hooker, the list is endless. But sometimes I do feel a bit like a phoney  listening to music from a different time and place (world even) that I cannot even begin to imagine or understand fully. No point to this really, it just crosses my mind sometimes, but then I listen to Son House singing &#8220;John The Revelator&#8221; like a fanatic preacher and that pure power and soul and a million other emotions that he puts out with such ease just makes me feel glad to have this music in my life.</p> <p>Well this is my first post.
